Intimate Event Photography Philosophy
I consider it a great honor to be invited into an intimate life event, whether it be a family celebration, a small wedding, vow renewal, or other rite of passage, I capture these events much how I try to capture everything…as a quiet observer, letting the images I capture tell the story. I look for the quiet moments, moments of laughter, love, the heartfelt tears. It’s all so beautiful in it’s authenticity. There are many incredible photographers in the Austin area, and I want to make sure that my shooting style matches what you are looking for before we move forward together. I shoot and process in both color and black and white, depending on the circumstances and lighting.
Intimate Event Session Shooting Fee – $300.00
This fee includes an in person consultation, to go over the details of your event and to answer any questions that you might have for me. During the event, lasting up to four hours, I will capture between 30-40 images, telling the story of you and yours as your event unfolds.
Image Processing/Delivery Fee –$300.00
The images captured during your event will then be edited and processed. You retain the rights to print these images, and they will be delivered to you digitally, either uploaded to Dropbox or mailed to you on a thumb drive for your use. You are not tied to any print package, and can choose from any of the images on your disc to print as you’d like, whether it be for announcements, memory books or framing. For this type of post processing work, you can expect your images to be ready within 7-10 business days of your event
Birth Photography Philosophy
My mother has been a practicing certified professional midwife in Austin, TX since I was 9 years old. I myself, as well as my 3 younger siblings were all born at home. I have been around childbirth most of my life, delivered both of my children at home and have attended countless births over the course of my lifetime. It’s always amazing, always leaves me breathless, moved to tears and full of awe. I consider it a great honor to be invited into a laboring mama’s home. It is an intimate, sacred space, full of love, anticipation and fierce determination. I capture childbirth, much how I capture everything…as a quiet observer, letting the images I capture tell the story. I will capture the quiet moments between the waves of contractions, moments of strength, the deepest work, the heartfelt tears and the overwhelming joy. It’s all so beautiful in it’s authenticity. Birth Photography Shooting Fee – $500.00
This fee includes an in person consultation, to go over your birth plan and answer any questions that you might have for me. I will also be on call 24/7 for the 2 weeks leading up to, and the two weeks after your estimated due date. This pricing includes capturing between 50-75 images of you and your family during labor and the delivery of your baby. It also includes capturing the small details of the shared moments after your baby is born.
Birth Images Fee – $300.00
The images captured during your birth will then be edited and processed. You retain the rights to print these images, and they will be burned to a disc or saved to a thumb drive for your use. You are not tied to any print package, and can choose from any of the images on your disc to print as you’d like, whether it be for birth announcements, memory books or framing. For this type of post processing work, you can expect your images to be ready within 7-10 business days of the birth.
*A $400.00 deposit is required in order to reserve your birth on my calendar. The remainder of the balance is due upon delivery of images.
Family Stories
Family Story Session Fee- $275.00
This fee includes an in person, phone or email consultation, to discuss your shoot ideas and to answer any questions that you might have for me. Consultation is a great time to communicate with one another what your expectation is of our time together is. Pricing includes between 40-50 final images of your family. Sessions typically last 1-2 hours depending on the environment. I strive to capture your family unposed and candid, doing your thing, whether it is baking cookies, walking the community gardens, playing baseball or hiking the state park trails. All photo sessions will include detail shots as well as overview/story shots. I am a natural light photographer and all images will be shot using available, natural light. The images captured during your shoot will then be edited and processed. You retain the rights to print these images, and they will be burned to a disc for your use. They will also be available online in a private client gallery to purchase prints if you choose. You are not obligated to purchase any prints or print packages from the gallery, and can choose from any of the images on your disc to print or publish, as you’d like. For this type of session, you can expect your images to be ready within 7-10 business days of shooting.
A La Carte
A la Carte photo session fee- $75/hr. (Minimum $75.00)
This fee includes an in person, phone or email consultation, to discuss your shoot ideas and to answer any questions that you might have for me. Consultation is a great time to communicate what you envision using your images for, so that I can really focus in on capturing your ideas in a way most applicable to your needs. Pricing includes between 8-10 final images of you, your establishment or your products. Sessions lasting longer than one hour will result in more images accordingly. All photo sessions will include detail shots as well as overview/story shots. I am a natural light photographer and all images will be shot using available, natural light.
